Profilering opleiding

This programme is tailored for bachelor and master graduates who aim to widen their scope of international management as well as to deepen their knowledge of and capabilities in business process management, international marketing strategy or strategy and innovation management.  This programme comes down to an all encompassing, integrated and high management training that has become a must for those who wish to develop the full potential of their capabilities in a rapidly changing international business environment.  The programme does not only apply to (business)economics students but also to university graduates in non-economic subject areas, such as engineers, lawyers, psychologists...

Students can choose between three specializations:

The specialization Data Science (DS) focuses on learning students how organizations function and have the knowledge to deal with different organizational stakeholders. The student graduates with a hybrid profile. In addition, as a Master of Management in Data Science,a student has a deep understanding of data-driven decision making. This means that a student has basic knowledge of process and data analysis to drive qualitative decision making, along with a basic set of skills to perform this type of analysis.

The specialization International Marketing Strategy (IMS) focuses on (business-to-business) marketing strategy in an international context.  Graduates gain insight in timely marketing strategies.

Complementary to a more classic consumer marketing perspective, this specialisation digs deep into marketing strategies, processes and the relationships between organizations whether they produce high-tech products/service or not. While consumer marketing is highly visible and well developed in our Western hemisphere (e.g. due to explicit exposure and branding), marketing between organizations remains a rather unexplored area. More even than consumer marketing, this field requires an explicit international perspective.

The specialization Strategy and Innovation Management (SIM) prepares graduates to cope with the current, rapidly changing business environment by developing appropriate strategies for and managing innovation/change projects in organizations.

Complementary to a general perspective on strategy and innovation management, this specialization offers in depth knowledge in (open) innovation, innovation ecosystems, business model innovation, strategic innovation, change management, (corporate) entrepreneurship, and digital transformation strategies.
