The master of Transportation Sciences ends with a master thesis. This master thesis consists of two successive parts: Master thesis part 1_DL counts 12 credits and Master thesis part 2_DL consists of 18 credits. The subject of the master thesis is related to the specialization of Traffic Safety or Mobility Management. Master thesis part 2_DL builds on Master thesis part 1_DL. |

An individual paper/project, supervised by a promoter. The course is mainly a form of guided self-study. |

| Assessment method and additional conditions |
| |
The course 3159 Master thesis part 2_DL is equivalent to 18 credits, has a final evaluation to a total of 20 and is divided over the various parts as follows:
- Written report: 10 credits
- Oral defence: 7 credits
- Progress: 1 credit
In case of a failed grade (less than 10/20) for the course 3159 Master thesis part 2_DL in the first chance exam period, the student has the opportunity to resubmit the report and redo the oral defence in the second chance exam period. The jury evaluates the written report, the oral defence and the progress throughout the entire teaching period. |
