- EC
| 1. The graduate of the master of Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy can autonomously (with the help of technology) establish a (contra-)indication for physiotherapy by performing a screening, and make a physiotherapeutic diagnosis at an integrated level for complex problems, based on the presenting complaint, the targeted anamnesis and the clinical physiotherapeutic examination. | | - DC
| The student shows advanced clinical reasoning based on the presentation of an integrative clinical case, which includes diagnosis, research and evidence-based practice as well as knowledge from other courses. | | | - BC
| The student can take a well-directed history and clinical physiotherapeutic assessment and is able to use this information to draw up a physiotherapeutic diagnosis, based on evidence-based guidelines. | - EC
| 2. The graduate of the master of Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy can, at an integrated level, on the basis of a physiotherapeutic diagnosis for complex problems, and in consultation with the patient/client, draw up treatment goals and a prevention and treatment plan, implement this plan (with the help of technology) and evaluate its clinical effectiveness. | | - DC
| The student is able to develop patient-oriented treatment goals and a treatment plan on the basis of the physiotherapeutic diagnosis. | | | - BC
| The student can take a well-directed history and clinical physiotherapeutic assessment and is able to use this information to draw up an individual treatment plan, based on evidence-based guidelines. | - EC
| 3. The graduate of the master of Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy can communicate appropriately, in writing and orally, with all interested parties in a manner that is respectful of the identity/privacy of the patient/client.
| | - DC
| The student is able to communicate in presenting and writing in an adequate and professional manner. | | | - BC
| The student can orally and written communicate about an integrative case report in which the decisions regarding the anamnesis, the clinical physiotherapeutic examination and the treatment plan of the selected patient are described and discussed. | - EC
| 9. The graduate of the master of Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy can make a critical synthesis of international scientific and professional literature with an impact on evidence-based practice. | | - DC
| The student can use international scientific and professional literature with a view to evidence-based practice. | | | - BC

This course first includes an introduction and explanation about the assignment concerning the integrative case report. Afterwards, two case presentations are presented by the coordinators. These include diagnosis, research, evidence-based treatment and integrative knowledge of prior courses. These case presentations provide a framework for integrative clinical reasoning. The students then prepare a clinical case presentation in small groups. This clinical case is approached in an integrative way with the implementation of relevant aspects from prior courses, includes a patient-specific assessment and an evidence-based treatment plan, and reflects the clinical reasoning process. The students read and interpret relevant scientific literature with regard to the assessment and treatment of the clinical case. The students also have real-life contact with the patient to collect the information on diagnosis and history, to conduct clinical tests or questionnaires, and to perform a clinical movement analysis, if relevant. The students select and substantiate on the basis of their assessment on the one hand and the scientific literature on the other hand the optimal treatment strategy.
The student groups write a case report in accordance with the guidelines and present this case at a symposium in the month of December.
