- Analysis and design methods: in synergy with the master's design studio
- Theory of urban design: key texts on recent developments withing the urban design practice
- An interview with a key urban player in the region of Limburg

| Conditions | - the report of the interview must be submitted on time in accordance with the agreements on Blackboard.
- The student must obtain a minimum of 8/20 for both the interview and the exam in order to pass the entire course. |

| Consequences | - If the report of the interview is not submitted in time, the student may not participate in the exam.
- If the student obtains less than 8/20 for the interview or on the exam, this lowest mark becomes the final mark of the entire course, and he/she must retake the entire course. |

| Additional information | The mark per student is based on a group mark for the group part, adjusted per student based on self and peer assessment, and an individual mark for the individual part. |
