The course Technological Innovations offers the student an introduction to novel promising technological domains. Technological innovation is never created from scratch, but is always based on decades of prior developments. It is necessary to know the past evolution of technology, to be able to place every innovation, to be able to estimate the value of an innovation, and to see what the innovations are that will arise in the near future. The course Technological Innovations offers an overview of the most important domain and explains the role innovation networks in fostering innovation. The students also learn how to identify the most innovative and important players within innovation networks.

Explanation (English) | A candidate that does not pass the course in the first chance can keep his mark from the parts that he/she passed and only needs to redo the other part. That means, that a student who passed the assignments during the semester but not the oral exam only needs to redo the oral exam, and vice versa. |
