- EC
| EC1 - The holder of the degree thinks and acts professionally with an appropriate engineering attitude and continuous focus on personal development, adequately communicates, effectively cooperates, takes into account the sustainable, economical, ethical, social and/or international context and is hereby aware of the impact on the environment. | | - DC
| DC-M8 - can evaluate knowledge and skills critically to adjust own reasoning and course of action accordingly. | | | - BC
| The evaluation criteria are determined by the host institution, in cooperation with the home institution, and depending on the nature of the international activity. The home institution should take care that there is enough overlap with the expected competences (especially research and/or job specific competencies and skills). (with a focus on the critical reflection) | | - DC
| DC-M9 - can communicate in oral and in written (also graphical) form. | | | - BC

In this course, state-of-the-art knowledge from different scientific and construction engineering areas are offered in an international context. This can be conducted by different means such as summer schools, international scientific or engineering competitions...
Students are only enrolled to this module after selection by the coordinating lecturer.

Other | The evaluation method depends on the project. The student will be assessed upon his ability to gather state-of-the-art information from different scientific and engineering areas and combine this knowledge to a final product (or process) which is presented and evaluated by a written or oral work. For activities officially evaluated during a stay abroad (e.g. Summerschools with a certificative evaluation), the coordinator from UHasselt can ask for an additional short report in order to evaluate the level of the followed educational program. |
