Prerequisites

The student can give a clear presentation adapted to the target audience.

For the expert track: The student can independently build up knowledge with a view to lifelong learning.

For the expert track: The student can independently look up scientific literature in the appropriate databases.

For the mentor track: The student can critically reflect on his or her own learning process.



Content

In this course, students can choose between an expert track and a mentor track.

In the expert track, students will attend a number of BI-related talks, events, conferences,... after which they will specialise in one of the chosen topics. They will write a scientific article about the state of the art in literature about the chosen topic. Next to this, they prepare a presentation about the topic.

In the mentor track, students will learn a number of people skills that they will apply to other students. At the end, they prepare a reflection report and a presentation.

Note: The mentor track will only take place in case enough students are interested.
