The student acquires knowledge on surface sensitive analysistechniques. The student knows the basic principles of X-ray diffraction and has insight in structure determinination of macromolecules using X-ray diffraction techiques. The student knows the possiblities and limitations of diffraction techniques. The student knows the basic principles of magnetic resonance and has insight in the characterisation of biomolecules using different magnetic resonance techniques.
