Content

This course will provide insight in how lipids are involved in the pathology of chronic diseases such as cadiovascular disease, cardiorenal disease, cancer, liver disease and brain diseases such as Alzheimer's and multiple sclerosis. Moreover, state of the art technologies to study lipid structure and frunction, and the possible use of lipids based nano- and micro-materials in therapeutic applications will be discussed.
