Prerequisites

The student has a thorough basic knowledge of the field of business economics.

The student can conduct scientific research under supervision, more specifically:

  • Select and interpret relevant, recent and scientific sources;
  • Draw up a research plan;
  • Select and implement scientific research methods;
  • Draw logical and correct conclusions from results of data analysis;
  • Write a correctly and scientifically correct research report.


Content

On his/her own initiative, yet under supervision of a supervisor, the students sets up a study in the field of his/her specialization or (business) economics in the broad sense. Through this study, the student gives proof of his/her capability as a novice researcher in the field. This study is in principle academic yet may well relate to and advice on more practical issues.
