Course overview:
The goal of the course is to contribute to the development of students' research competences. The course consists of two parts.
PART I
- Introduction to research
- The scientific approach and alternative approaches to investigation
- The problem statement: definining the managerial and research problem
- The literature review: searching, selecting, reading, argumenting and writing (incl. citing)
- Theoretical framework and hypothesis development
- Elements of the research design
PART II
A research assignment, centred on writing a literature review, carried out in small groups.
