This course offers an introduction to operations management and logistics. Students gain insight in the concepts and management problems related to these topics, their interrelations and their relations to other business functions. They acquire skills in planning and managing production systems, including process design, quality control, aggregate planning and material requirements planning. Quantitative techniques are applied to solve decision making problems in this context.
