| 1. The graduate of the master of Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy can autonomously (with the help of technology) establish a
(contra-)indication for physiotherapy by performing a screening, and make a physiotherapeutic diagnosis at an integrated level for complex problems, based on the presenting complaint, the targeted anamnesis and the clinical physiotherapeutic examination. | | | - DC

This course first includes an introduction and explanation about the assignment concerning the integrative case report. Afterwards, two case presentations are presented by the coordinators. These include diagnosis, research, evidence-based treatment and integrative knowledge of prior courses. These case presentations provide a framework for integrative clinical reasoning. The students then prepare a clinical case presentation in small groups. This clinical case is approached in an integrative way with the implementation of relevant aspects from prior courses, includes a patient-specific assessment and an evidence-based treatment plan, and reflects the clinical reasoning process. The students read and interpret relevant scientific literature with regard to the assessment and treatment of the clinical case. The students also have real-life contact with the patient to collect the information on diagnosis and history, to conduct clinical tests or questionnaires, and to perform a clinical movement analysis, if relevant. The students select and substantiate on the basis of their assessment on the one hand and the scientific literature on the other hand the optimal treatment strategy.
The student groups write a case report in accordance with the guidelines and present this case at a symposium in the month of December.
