This course focuses on existing design approaches in architecture and interior architecture, which have a particular human-centered focus and care about the design of the built environment and the impact this can have on people's lives, their experiences, motivations and behaviour. We will present and discuss different approaches (e.g., Design for Experience, Universal Design / Design for All, Design for Subjective Well-Being, Participatory Design).

| The newly graduated student has further deepened or broadened the subject-content expertise acquired in the bachelor’s programme in the fields of design, engineering, envisioning and culture in at least two of these fields at master’s level. As a result, he/she has knowledge and skills in design, engineering, visual arts, culture and human sciences and is able to employ these in his/her teaching practice. |
