The student has an understanding of the different types of biomarkers that have been developed for the monitoring of exposure as well as for human health. The student has insight in exposure methods used to quantify physical, chemical and biological exposures of relevance to human health. The student is able to design studies to measure exposure, and interpret data obtained from such studies. The student knows different levels of exposure assessment integrating external exposure with personal exposure assessment to biomarkers of internal dose or effect.
