Advice If you include Master's Project in your study programme, we strongly recommend you to take this course together with 3615 Master's Thesis (together = in your study programme of the same academic year)

Content

Themaster's project will be divided in a workshop and an individual assignment. The individual assignment of the master's project forms the major part of the second semester and is closely related to the master's thesis. It consists of a personal and original work of design on an existing building or site. Students will be invited to consider sites that are part of ongoing research projects but may also propose sites from their own home countries.

Evaluation

Semester 2 (21,00sp)

Evaluation method
Other evaluation method during teaching period100 %
Other evaluation via design assignments
Evaluation conditions (participation and/or pass)
Conditions Attendance at the sessions of the design studio is required. Students must justify any absence in the design studio. In case students cannot submit (parts of) a design project in time, they should follow the guidelines at stake communicated through blackboard or otherwise. Students must submit the project on the appointed day and hour (unless justified).
Consequences In case of legally justified absence the current project should be fully completed. Unauthorized absence at one third or more of the number of design studio sessions associated with a design studio project, results in mark 0 for the assignment at stake. Failure to submit the project on the appointed day and hour (unless justified) results in mark 0 for the assignment at stake and he or she will be excluded from the defense of the master's project.
